I wanted something that would remove restrictions from PDFs and formerly used a free app. That free app was not able to properly convert PDFs that had an invisible watermark—the converted file had made the watermark visible. Looking around for other apps I found some costing $30 to $40, so I thought I would try this relatively cheap offering. Do not be misled by its low price, this app rocks, it did the job quickly and perfectly. Money well…

This program will do exactly what is asked for, batch or single edit the security settings and meta info for PDFs. No problem. This is great because preview will not give easily give you these details where this program will and suppots RC4 and AES encryption.

This App has gotten some poor reviews by people who don't understand what it's for. The intended use case is to remove password protection from PDF files in bulk. You still have to know the password. If you have folders full of PDF files that you want to protect or unprotect, it makes quick work of updating them all in place. At $1.99 it's a great value.

I had over 100 pdf files I needed to remove the passwords and this app did it in about 20 seconds. All files had the same password and I knew it, but wihout the app it would've taken me hours to manually remove the passwords. You simply drag the folder, enter the password and it will keep the same folder/subfolders structure, file location and names, but now without the password.

I had purchased a couple of books that were delivered in a password protected pdf format. I wanted to be able to open these books on my different tablets without having to enter a password every time. Purchased this software, opened each protected pdf, turned off the security, saved and bye bye password. Note, you need to know the password of the protected pdf you are opening.

I needed this app to rationalise the passwords across a whole archive of pdfs. It is very straightforward to use, works quickly and does just what it claims. For the low price it seems very good value.

I had to remove password for a bunch of PDFs and this tool did exactly what it said. The process was swift and I had no issues using it. easy to use.

Works flawlessly but you must quit Acrobat Reader must before using SecurePDF. E-mail support is almost instant and they solved my problem (that text could still be copied) very promptly

Not sure what all these negative reviews are complaining about. I've been using this app to unlock passworded PDF files for the past three months for work and this app has worked flawlessly. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to unlock PDFs on the fly.

Does exactly what it says and for very little outlay. To remove password protection simply select the document and "save as" with no security - simple.
