Excellent. Dragged the wps files etc from Works into this app. Asked for them to be converted into docx and excel. Chose to export them into my chosen file in Finder and a few seconds later -a perfect transfer. How frustrating it has been and how easy this app made it.

I decided to pull the trigger as there aren't many apps on the market that can convert MS Works documents quickly and effectively. The app converting my 200 Works documents seamlessly due to the bulk conversion feature. And it did it fast -- super fast. Total conversion time was less than 2 minutes. I had my doubts, but WPC Convert worked as advertised on first try for some seriously old .wps files. Computer here was a M2 2022 Macbook Air, so latest edition is pretty compatible. I had some minor format issue, but I had never seen the originals, so hard to say. I saw nothing better, particularly for the $4.99 price. Go for it....

I was stuck on a project because I could not open it on my laptop, but this app allowed me to not only open the file but it also allowed me to make changes and do everything I needed to do. I had over 350 old MS WKS files I needed to convert. I had found other apps that would convert WPS and WBD, but nothing for WKS. This worked like a dream. All files were converted in a snap. I’ve opened several. The content is all there. It looks like some of the cosmetic formatting is wonky, like bolded or doubled gridlines, but that didn’t matter for my purposes. I just needed the content converted. Well worth the $4.99 for me.

Folks it works (no pun intended). I’ve been opening .wks files from the mid 90’s and am seeing my life pass before me. A++++++++

This just works. I have old wks files from my dad from 20 years ago. I plopped all 61 of them in and out popped 61 pdf files. Did it again to get xlsx files. Pretty neat. Worth it.

I'm converting my mother-in-law's journals she wrote over her entire life. She had transcribed them to MS Works (for some reason) and that is the only format we have. She passed away in May and I am thankful to be able to convert these files to PDF.
